Building a new European resilient democratic system. Sovereign but still united.
New Europe
Sovereign but decentral embedded political clusters for a more direct, dynamic and liquid digital democracy for a post national European Union as role model for a global society with local, regional and cultural identities.
After US vice president JD Vance's speech at the Munich Security Conference in February 2025 and the subsequent negotiations between Marco Rubio and Sergey Lavrov on the Ukraine issue in Riyadh - without Ukraine itself and the EU sitting at the discussion table as partners in securing peace - it is clear that a new world order has taken shape. Europe must reinvent itself. It must safeguard its national interests, reduce bureaucracy and at the same time do more to ensure unity in its foreign and security policy.
Resilient Democracy is a project dedicated to strengthening democratic stability through decentralized Digital Public Infrastructure (dDPI). By leveraging digital, dynamic, democratic processes, we enable citizens to vote directly or delegate decisions flexibly, ensuring more inclusive and transparent governance. Collaborating with governments and major organizations, we aim to develop secure, tamper-resistant digital systems using blockchain and distributed ledger technologies. These technologies enhance trust and resilience by preventing manipulation and ensuring verifiable decision-making processes.
Our approach supports post-national democratic engagement while reinforcing local, regional, and cultural identities through decentralized governance structures. By integrating AI-driven data analysis, we help policymakers better understand and respond to public preferences in real-time. The project emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration across technology, social sciences, and policy to develop practical frameworks and prototypes. We assess the societal impact, technical feasibility, and ethical considerations to ensure accessibility and inclusivity. By decentralizing governance and improving representation, Resilient Democracy fosters a more adaptive, participatory, and stable democratic system.
